Future Continuous
Untuk menyusun kalimat dalam tense ini, terdapat beberapa rumus yang dapat digunakan. Yang pertama adalah rumus future continuous tense bentuk dasar. Terdapat 3 rumus untuk kalimat positif, negatif dan interogatif atau kalimat tanya.
- Kalimat Positif
Subyek + Will Be + Verb 1-ing (Present Participle) - Kalimat Negatif
Subyek + Will + Not + Be + Verb 1-ing (Present Participle) - Kalimat Interogatif atau Kalimat Tanya
Will + Subyek + Be + Verb 1-ing (Present Participle)
Bentuk kalimat lain yang menggunakan future continuous tense adalah bentuk kalimat “wh-question”, yaitu kalimat tanya yang menggunakan awalan What, Where, When, Who, Which, Why, How atau Whose. Berikut rumus untuk menyusunnya :
- Menanyakan Subyek
Who/What + Will + Be + Verb 1-ing (Present Participle)
Whose/Which + Noun + Will + Be + Verb 1-ing (Present Participle) - Menanyakan Obyek
Who/What + Will + Subyek + Be + Verb 1-ing (Present Participle)
Whose/Which + Noun + Will + Subyek + Be + Verb 1-ing (Present Participle) - Menanyakan Kata Keterangan (Adverb)
When/Where/Why + Will + Subyek + Be + Verb 1-ing (Present Participle)
How + adverb + Will + Subyek + Be + Verb 1-ing (Present Participle)
